Organic Serum and Scrub

It’s been a while since I have posted. Isla, got her first cold and of course I then got it. Typical!!! So, for the past couple of weeks we have been down unfortunately. I have sat down to write a few times and my brain has been so foggy. Nothing was working properly in there haha. Because it has been so long, it has allowed me to give the products we are talking about today a good long try.

I have been able to utilize them for over a month now, and I just love!!! All of this line’s ingredients speak for themself. The line is Plush Organic Skin Care. We are looking at the Vitamin C Enzyme Scrub and the Rosehip & Hibiscus Serum.

In previous posts I talk about how this line uses certified organic ingredients grown on their farms in the USA and in England. Plush Organic Skin Care is also certified cruelty free. Which is amazing!!!

Vitamin C Scrub

Their Vitamin C Scrub is a very gentle exfoliant. The line is designed to be suitable for all skin types, yet cater to those who breakout. There are sneaky ingredients to get in there and slough off all of that dead skin without it being too abrasive and harsh on the skin’s surface.

The Properties

It is infused with 20% Vitamin C, orange enzymes, and AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids). These ingredients almost act like a mild peel by dissolving the dead skin cells. The gritty parts are mostly made up of raw sugar cane crystals, so it will not scratch the surface of the skin. That is one fact people need to be mindful of. A lot of scrubs ingredients can actually be damaging to their skin. It is always good to look into what the gritty material is when purchasing a scrub.

Another thing to add- even though it is pore cleansing and has these AHA properties, there is also avocado oil that, in turn leaves the skin feeling hydrated after use.

Rosehip & Hibiscus Serum

This serum I have fallen in love with. I use it before bed every night. It is a clear complexion formula and usually, clear complexion formulas leave the skin feeling quite dry and tight. But, this does the complete opposite!!! It has been great using this during the last month of the winter season, because my skin is usually on the dryer side.

The Properties

The Rosehip & Hibiscus Serum was designed specifically to reduce the appearance of breakouts whiteheads and blackheads, while keeping the skin feeling hydrated. The key ingredients are tea tree, shea butter, white willow bark, Vitamin B5, rosehip oil, natural floral extracts, Aloe Vera and Vitamin C. All of these truly speak for themselves when it comes to combating breakouts and preventing lines.

My Experience

The Vitamin C Scrub I used twice a week. I wouldn’t recommend any more than that because of the AHA’s. I love the way it feels on my skin while using it. It left it feeling smooth and glowing. This scrub is excellent for all skin types, including sensitive skin (which is awesome!!!). There is a Vitamin C line that goes with the scrub. A cleanser, toner, and Vitamin C serum is available as well.

Using the Rosehip & Hibiscus Serum nightly has done wonders for me. It feels silky on my skin, yet not too heavy. I absolutely recommend trying this one out. I have client’s that suffer from breakouts yet their skin feels dry and tight to them. This is a great option for people with that particular skin type.
