About Alexandra

Let’s talk a little about myself, Alexandra! I started my Medical Aesthetics journey back in 2006 working for my mom, Nicola at her Medical Aesthetics clinic. She got me to take a couple of courses to have a background and understanding of the business. I mostly answered her phones and did her office work, but was able to treat family members and friends (I was only 18 then).

In 2008, I took a Nail technology course where I then ventured off and worked at a Merle Norman doing nails and Aesthetics in my town of Kelowna, B.C., Canada. I worked here for about 4 years and also continued to work at my mother’s Medical Aesthetics clinic a couple of days a week keeping up with both ends of the Aesthetics industry.

A big adventure was ahead of me in 2012, where I took a job in the Spa’s on cruise ships. I worked for 2 years in the Spa on the Yacht’s of Seabourn. If you are not familiar with this cruise line, they are a six star cruise line that consist of giant passenger yachts. I worked firstly on The Odyssey where the spa was voted the number one spa on a cruise line, thereafter I worked on The Legend. Fun fact- this 200 passenger luxury yacht was used for the movie Speed 2.

After I was ready to settle in one place and start a life again in 2014, I invested into my mother’s business and worked side by side with her. We are lucky to have many machine’s to utilize from Laser Hair Removal, Skin Tightening and Body Contouring, Medical Grade Microdermabrasions, Fractional and many more. Once I got on board in the business with my mother, she started an academy in Medical Aesthetics known as Nicola Finch Laserspa Academy. We are very fortunate to share our knowledge of a field we have both been so passionate in for many years. My mother, Nicola has been in this industry for over 30 years and myself 12 years and counting.

Throughout my years of working, I learned a lot about different cosmetics and effects they can have on the skin. I have educated numerous clients and seen dramatic changes in their complexion after getting them to switch things up. So, I would always end up sending them elsewhere to purchase their makeup. Then it occurred to me- why not start my own beauty line!

The products in my line include formulas that I would recommend to clients and use myself. I am excited to be sharing something that I really believe in with everyone!

Cheers! Alexandra
