I have this weird thing that I do. I crave blue things haha. Like blue colored drinks (probably so bad for me) and blue items that are scented. I’m not sure what the flavors or scents are supposed to be, because blue is not a flavor nor a scent, but for some reason I want it. I know that I am not alone in this, I’ve heard of other people out there that like blue flavors or scents too, otherwie they wouldn’t have blue as an option right?! So of course I was drawn to this mask. It’s blue!Continue reading “Blue Seaweed Mask”
Let’s go to the spa… or even better let’s take the spa home. Run yourself a nice bath and treat yourself to some relaxing down time. You deserve it. It is, Sunday anyways. You don’t have anywhere important to be ;).
I’ve been told so many times to make sure you take care of yourself too once you have the baby. I didn’t fully understand what that meant because I thought that if I am home all day I will have time to tend to my myself too. Nope, there are just not enough hours in the day! Especially if you make plans. It takes 3 hours to just get out of the house (if you want to get ready too). So taking a bath and having some me time is needed! Continue reading “Take the Spa Home”
I love me a good mask that leaves the skin feeling nice and squeaky clean and refreshed. This mask I am going to talk about today is by La Roche-Posay. It is from their line, Effaclar which is designed for acne prone or oily skin. This mask is unclogging, purifying, sebo-controlling, and is meant to be matifying. Which is amazing, because if you’re like me then you apply powder a lot in the day to keep that shine away haha. Continue reading “Unclogging Purifying Mask”
Let’s take a look at a scrub that I have grown to really like lately. I am quite picky with my scrubs. For my particular skin type I like a gritty textured product that feels like it is sloughing off everything I need efficiently. This scrub is made by Clayton Shagal. It is called Bamboo & Honey Exfoliant. It is meant for people with normal to dry skin, mature skin, or dehydrated skin. The grits in this product are made up of crystalized bamboo extract, which I find to be quite cool, so it’s still aggressive enough yet doesn’t scratch the skin. You don’t need very much of this scrub. If you take a little bit of it and rub it in between two fingers you can feel how gritty the texture is which I LOVE! One tube lasts quite some time- I have had mine for almost 3 months now and it gets utilized 2 times a week. I usually apply a dime sized amount with gentle circle motions all over then leave on for about 2-3 minutes (depending on if I’m in a hurry). Then with wet hands I use circle motions again to kind of get a gritty lather going- then rinse off! My skin is always left feeling silky and has a hydrated feel to it. Perfect now that we are going into the dry winter months. Continue reading “Bamboo & Honey”
Now this one is going to get a little personal, but I’m always finding myself looking up other people’s experiences on Google. I like to see how they are liking products and what they may have done differently for themselves. So, I thought I would share my personal experience so far. Continue reading “The Dreaded Tearing”
